Klimpke Family Fundraiser

With a heavy heart we’d like to share with the community that John Klimpke sadly passed the morning of Monday, June 26th. To say that the family is devastated is an understatement.

John was blessed to spend 63 years loving and spending time with his family and friends which he loved dearly.

John played so many roles, a son, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a great grandfather, and a friend. If you don’t recognize John by his name maybe you’ll recognize him by his giant Christmas light display he did for roughly 15 years off of Blueberry Ave, Nikiski Alaska. It put a smile on Johns face to watch the community gather every year to see all of his hard work.

The community lost a remarkable man who made so many lives better. We would like to raise money to cover funeral costs, the family’s travel expenses from his extended hospital stay in Anchorage Alaska, medical bills, and to ensure his wife, Brenda Klimpke, can take the time she needs to grieve.
