K.Lion Official Legacy Fund

Hello, I am the father of Kwinton, known around the world as K.Lion. In light of the overwhelming outpouring of love and requests to provide support, we have set up this campaign page. Your donations will directly support his legacy – his daughter, his music and his message.

We unexpectedly lost our beloved Kwinton on June 10, 2020 – a death that was felt worldwide. Kwinton was a very astute and positive young man with a heart full of love.  His message of peace was growing, not only among the youth of Trinidad, but with higher-level officials as well. There is no doubt he would touch the world.

In the recently posted article in the Trinidad Express, Kwinton’s close friend and business partner is quoted as saying, “He is no regular youth. He is a loving youth. He really was a different youth. He was a leader.” Ghost added, “There would never be another artiste like him.  His vocabulary and wordplay was extraordinary, not like any other artiste in Trinidad… His talent was unmatched.”  These two quotes summarize the myriad of comments regarding K Lion as an artiste and who he was as a person.  To add my own, Kwinton was as an exceptional father, son, brother and friend.  He had a generous spirit, sharp wit and infectious laugh that will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.  

We are overcome by this sudden loss.  His family and extended team are extremely grateful for all the love and emotional support expressed so far by so many across the globe. #BIL #TTIL #KLionIL
