Heading to Haiti!

Hey there Fam and Friends!
As many of you know, I am currently a Junior at the University of Georgia. A big part of my college experience has been getting to see how faithful, sweet, and awesome The Big Man truly is. I had to put my faith in Him when He lead me away from my sweet home Alabama to come here to Athens, GA, and He hasn’t stopped providing ever since. He has definitely #blessed me with such a solid community and incredible opportunities here in Athens... including getting to go to Haiti with Campus Crusades (Cru) and Mission of Hope (MOH).
It has been my dream to go to Haiti ever since one of my favorite role models and greatest example of a Godly man, Papa Spot, went in 2011, a year after the earthquake. After seeing the sights he saw, he and Mama Spot were of course hesitant to let me make the trip. But after discovering that I would also staying exactly where Papa Spot stayed almost four years ago with Mission of Hope, along with a lot of thinking and mostly praying, they finally caved. I am beyond thankful for their support and would love to be able to support them in return! I am hoping to raise and earn all my funds. So I thank you in advance for your generosity! But, most importantly, prayers are needed the most for our group and the hearts of the people of Haiti. I couldn’t be more excited to see what The Good Lord has in store for everyone.
Thankful for each of you!
A whole lot of love,
Macy
