Dad needs surgeries

About 8 months ago my dad tore his retina in his eye. Four surgeries later caused a lot of time off from work for recovery. The fourth surgery caused a  cataract to form in his eye and he now needs another surgery to fix the cataract.

Recently during work, my dad tore his ACL and got a meniscus injury. He is about to have knee surgery and will be out of work for 6 plus months.

Also, my mom just recovered from breast cancer in the past year and half, but cannot overload herself with a lot of work.

My dad is 62 years old and is one of the hardest working people that I know. He always shows up to work and he’s always reliable. Both of my parents are kind and so giving to everyone. They are my inspiration day in and out. I could say so much more, but my point is that my parents are amazing people, and I really don’t want them to worry about not having enough money to comfortably live the next couple of months.

I’m not really sure what is a reasonable goal for this, 
So I just put a number out there, but any thought would be great and really appreciated. Thank you!
