Support for Reed

Hi All,

Our dear friend Reed has gone through something awful and needs our support. He will need help with medical bills, loss of income, etc. Time and our support will hopefully make things easier through this tough period.

This is Reed's post on Facebook from June 24th about the incident.

There is no easy way to say this, but it appears last night I was beaten and robbed on my way home in the Coney Island neighborhood of Brooklyn. I got a bad hit on the top of my head, which resulted in a skull fracture and 12 staples. The good news I'm told is that I don't have any brain damage. At the moment I don't have my phone, my Kindle, my wristwatch, or my wallet. I am back home and out of the hospital after getting treated. I'm very shaken. I will need some time to process and deal with what happened, but I'm glad I'm still here.
