Keep Miss Jessica's House

I finally left my husband back in December last year, after years of being in a toxic relationship and capitulating to his suicide threats each previous time I had tried to leave. But during covid - a hard time for people in my profession - I received no support from him and finally decided enough was enough.

So things were going fine, or so I thought! Fast forward a few months and he refused to return a lot of my money he had been holding (he still hasn't returned it and I am in the process of trying to resolve this legally) out of spite because I had tried to break free from him. Not only that, he also decided to report me to the police for being a sex worker to try and ruin my business! The good news is that I have won on the police front and they saw he's doing it out of spite!

Anyway, he's now trying to take my home - which I have worked very hard for over the years - from me, and due to loss of income during COVID I can't re-mortgage currently :( He knows that by doing this he would also cripple me financially, as I work from home. So I have about 6 months to save the money I need and avoid losing my home and workspace- actually around £50k (no more lockdowns please!)

I have set this page up to try and reach £20k in that time. Literally anything you can contribute towards this would be amazing and very gratefully received, as I so want to stay here.
