Baby Cali’s NICU stay

We have created this GoFundMe in honor of the Harris family and their newest addition, Cali. As some of you know, the Harris family has recently undergone some tremendous struggles. A little bit of a back story…

 

On November 3rd Britton was admitted for life-threatening complications due to Preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome. Despite all efforts of delaying delivery, Cali Jean Harris was born on November 5th, via emergency c-section, at just 30 weeks’ gestation. Although she is already such a little fighter, she is currently intubated and has a long fight ahead of her, including a lengthy stay in the NICU until she is strong enough to be home with her parents and siblings.

The NICU is where miracles happen every day, with dedicated teams of doctors and nurses working around the clock to care for the smallest and most vulnerable among us. However, the road to recovery in the NICU is often long, arduous, and expensive. The medical costs can be overwhelming for any family, and this is why we are turning to you – our community – for support.

We have set up this page to help Cali's family with the medical expenses, as well as to provide care and support for the Harris family during this time. No parent is ever fully prepared for the challenges of a premature birth, and the financial strain only adds to their emotional stress.
