The Love Project

Covid-19 has had a huge impact on the artistic community. Nevertheless, Artists have continued to create content within Covid safe conditions providing entertainment, education and insight. The majority of these passion projects have been funded by the artists themselves, created solely for the sake of creativity, but creating a quality project is expensive. That’s why we need your help for this next project - A Covid safe collaboration called “The Love Project!”
The Love Project is an episodic dance film exploring the twists and turns of Love in the modern world. Eleven up-and-coming choreographers and six videographers from NYC are coming together to safely collaborate in the creation of this film. Additionally, an LGBTQ+ organization, Love is Love, will be providing interviews about Love sprinkled throughout the film.
Here’s where we need your help! In order to compensate these talented videographers, each project costs $400 and the final edit fee is $200. This brings us to a total of $4600. Additional funds will be split evenly amongst the choreographers to reimburse them for rehearsal space.
We will premiering the film on Vimeo this Valentine’s Day! I will be providing the link via our Instagram, @theloveproject_dance or email if preferred. We hope you cuddle up with a glass of wine, friends, a special someone or all three and enjoy a Valentine’s Day film that makes you leap from your couch and dance around your living room!
Thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Michael Callahan
