Washington Park Batting Cage Repairs
Tax deductible
The Washington Park batting cages were built in 1998 and have been a staple to the kids in our community for over 20 years. If you walk through Washington Park between February and November, and you will likely find Burlingame Youth Baseball Association and Burlingame High School baseball players in the Washington Park batting cage taking hacks as they prepare themselves for their seasons. All of that training has taken its toll on the batting cage. The batting cage needs a new perimeter fence, interior netting and lighting to be ready for the upcoming season. The cost of the repairs is $20,000. We do not want to raise registration on the families in the community to pay for the repairs as we believe in being an affordable league for the families in our community. Any donation will help us keep the Washington Park batting cage a place where our children can continue learning the game and building memories for many years to come! Please share this with all members of the community who have loved the batting cage over the years and care about building community through youth baseball.
