Kendra's Broken Ankle Deductable

Hello :)
So, if you hadn't herd the news, I recently broke my ankle in the worst possible way imaginable. My foot was completely disconnected. I broke all three major bones that connect my foot:-/....
Yes, it's definitely not something I would wish on anyone, but what is more unfortunate, is how terrible my insurance is.


I figured, since I am an AF Vet, I could just use the VA for medical stuff. so I opted for the bare min insurance through work just in case. I am slowly learning this was a mistake. My Deductable is $2000, and then I pay 20% of whatever's left. Luckily I had insurance, I was just not prepared to have to pay so much for healthcare.

A few few people suggested I reach out for help by utilizing Go fund Me.  My only other option I could think of would be to sell my motorcycle,  since I won't be able to ride for a long time. 

The VA would not be the quicket way for me to "get back on my feet" so I can get back to living. Any help would be appreciated more than you know.
