Knifebros Helping Knifebros

Many know me on r/knife_swap as u/maugust09, however, this story is about u/Dooms25, someone many know of, or are friends with through our mutual knife-loving hobby.
Besides being a moderator on r/knife_swap, u/Dooms25 is a true knifebro and all-around great person. However not many know the struggles of his personal life. In his own words: "Currently I have sarcoidosis, degenerative disk disease, spinal stenosis, Thrombocytopenia, an unknown heart condition (a few years ago I had ventricular tachycardia followed by cardiac arrest 7 times in a row, but they don't know the specific diagnosis), and I have a brain lesion."
Even with these ongoing medical conditions, he is still considered "able" to work and does not qualify for full disability benefits. Yes, he is expected to maintain a job even with this laundry list of conditions.
Money raised will help him deal with these issues, including paying for current medical treatments and the bills for such. If you've had to deal with the American Health Care System, you'd know that the pursuit of better health costs money. Personally, I do not believe anyone's health should be held hostage in the name of business and money - This is cruel, to say the very least.
We have an extremely strong community on r/knife_swap. I have seen it time, and time again, where we have come together to support each other.
Thus, I am calling upon the community, OUR community, to support u/Dooms25. Although it will not solve every problem, it can at least provide some relief to keep him going, and sometimes that is enough.
There are over 37,000 people in our community. Even if half of our user-base donates just $1, we can make a difference. I am asking with sincerity for anyone who can, to please donate something. Thank you.
