KofC council 1031 raise $ for Reading Food Pantry
Donation protected
This unprecedented time of Covid-19 makes us pause and think and appreciate the relationships in our lives. We miss being with friends and family and neighbors.
Like many organizations our local Reading Knights of Columbus Council 1031 have been meeting via video conferencing. Our last meeting we asked how we can help the Reading Community at this time. The majority answer was to fundraise for the Reading Food Pantry.
The Reading Food Pantry is located at the Old South United Methodist Church at 6 Salem Street, Reading, MA. It serves food to the needy twice a week. We will be making the donation directly to the food bank. If you need a receipt for your donation for tax purposes you will need to ask the Reading Food Pantry.
We would appreciate your generosity during this time. We know that many are struggling during these times. To help the cause The Reading Knights of Columbus Council 1031 will match the amount raised total donation up to the first $4000.
