THANK YOU STERLING COMMUNITY, FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF THE 41st ANNUAL STERLING PARADE. WE ARE NOT LONGER ACCEPTING DONATION FOR THIS YEAR'S EVENT, BUT WATCH FOR OUR FUNDRAISING AS WE PREPARE FOR NEXT YEAR'S PARADE AND MARK YOUR CALENDARS: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2023!

Sterling Community: We again need the support of our great community to ensure our small, local parade continues with the 41st Annual Sterling Parade!

Since 1981, your local Knights of Columbus (KofC) Councils has hosted a community-based parade on the Saturday morning of Columbus Day weekend. This parade is our give back to the Sterling Community and features YOU, our citizens, volunteers, business leaders and Sterling Community at-large.

This year, the 41st consecutive year, the parade will again be hosted in Sterling on Saturday, October 8, 2022 by the Christ the Redeemer Knights of Columbus Council #16234.

This event offers great community spirit and is a perfect lead-in for the local groups and merchants who also participate at SterlingFest--Sterling Park's annual festival taking place on the same day as the Sterling Parade.

The CTR Knights of Columbus organize the parade and provide volunteers for all aspects of parade planning and execution. The Knights work with the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office for traffic control and pedestrian safety along the parade route. The financial support of our Sterling Community is critical to funding LCSO and other safety resources key to continuing the annual community event.

Our goal this year is to raise $2,500 to defray these costs. The suggested amount for our local businesses is $300, but any amount will be appreciated. Likewise, individual donations of any size matter and are also greatly appreciated.

Contributions for the parade fund can be made directly here or mailed to Knights of Columbus, Council #16234, PO Box 26, Sterling, VA 20167. Checks should be made out to "KofC Council 16234".
