"Knitting our Family Together," Through Adoption
Donation protected
We have always wanted a large family, and we have succeeded in that effort! We have an amazing lineup of wonderful Box Boys that fill our lives with so much joy. However, we have always imagined having a little girl in the mix, for ourselves and our children.
After losing our only daughter Selah, shortly after birth, to Trisomy-18 last year, we decided that we shouldn't have any more biological children. But, there is still space in our hearts and our home for a baby girl.
This summer we started the paperwork for adoption, and we are excited to announce that we are home study approved and waiting to be matched with our future daughter. We don't know exactly how long the wait will be, but we have already started seeing situations!
Adoption comes with many emotional and financial hurdles, but we are determined to bring our baby girl home.
Brittany has been knitting hundreds of hats, and plans to donate a hat to a child in foster care, for every donation we receive towards our adoption. We appreciate your support and prayers as we go on this journey.
