Dear KNMA Friends and Family,
Thank you for your tireless support in helping KNMA to be the best respected Martial Arts Studio in Burbank for almost 30 years. We, at KNMA, believe that all of our instructors, students, friends, and families are a united community. We want to keep our KNMA friends and family informed when we have an opportunity to improve our school.
Many of our parents, friends, and family members have watched our amazing students train without air conditioning and heat. And those same parents, friends, and family members who watch from the sidelines have shown great strength and commitment by disregarding this uncomfortable situation! With that said, we need to install an air conditioning and heating system (HVAC) and we are preparing a fund-raising campaign to address this.
The campaign will have two parts: A school tournament and a Go Fund Me account. The school tournament, dated for June 10th, will invite our students to participate in various competitions, similar to our past school tournaments. Whereas past tournament proceeds would result in a donation to a non-profit charitable organization, these proceeds will be allocated toward the new HVAC system.
The Go Fund Me account is a website where all our KNMA family, friends, and supporters may make a direct monetary contribution to support funding for the installation of a new HVAC system. The goal is to raise $18,000 by June 10st.
We are asking all of our KNMA family and friends for their support and generosity in making this installation an achievable benefit for everyone at the school. Monetary contributions are greatly appreciated. Our KNMA family and friends may make donations at our studio or visit.
