New KnowMads Album Coming in 2021

Like many performing artists, the Knowmads rely on touring as a major means of income. We had to cancel our tour this past April because of the pandemic and haven't been able to do shows for the past 10 months... So last Spring, we decided to channel our energy into the studio, approaching an album with a new feel, that we started writing while cooped up in Brooklyn, NY.
One of the fundamental creators of KnowMads sound over the years, Peter Lee Johnson (who produced SEATTLE, CupaTea and Knew School) agreed to collaborate on this new project. He recently solo produced two tracks off of Ariana Grande's "Positions" album and has been creating really incredible stuff. The majority of the funds on this GoFundMe will go to paying Pete for his time in orchestrating the music behind this project, as well as fees related to the mixing and mastering process. We also will use funds to hire an artist to design the cover. It means a lot to us that we are able to create such high quality work across all mediums, we definitely do not take it for granted. We are so blessed to work with highly talented musicians and artists and also to be able to do so because of you!

We are hoping to get this album wrapped up in the next 6 weeks and with your support we could potentially have a release date as early as February 2021!
Our listeners and die-hard fans (KMF) have acted as investors in place of a label or agency and your sincere support has allowed us to keep creating art all these years. It is a hard place to be in when an artist has to decide whether or not they can "afford" to bring their vision to life. When you invest in a KnowMads project you are becoming part of the collective energy that is creating the art piece and bringing the vision from an idea to something tangible that will last for decades.
We are so grateful for each person who takes the time to help support us in this current venture. We know how hard this year has been for everyone, and we send our love to everyone out there who is struggling.
