Help The Kobels Rebuild After Flash Flood
Donation protected
Hello. My name is Graham Cerceo from Charleston, SC and I need your help.
On June 19, 2019 a severe flash flood devastated areas of West Lafayette, Ohio and forced my cousin, Tyler and Michelle Kobel to flee their home.
After the rains subsided.
The unusually heavy rains for the region produced extensive water damage to their home. Portions of the interior are caving in the foundation is severely damaged. Their home is uninhabitable and the extensive damage has displaced them for the foreseeable future.
All of their belongings were ready to be moved to the new house.
Because the flooding only affected a few areas in Coshocton County, the state of emergency only allowed a few hundred dollars in aid to be collected. So Tyler and Michelle have few options at this point.

In an unbelievable twist of bad luck, Tyler and Michelle had scheduled to close on a new home the very next day after the night of the storm. Due to the crippling circumstance, they lost both homes in a matter of 24 hours.
Tyler, Michelle, Natalie & Will Kobel
Their two young children Will and Natalie were away at camp while all this happened. Leaving them with nothing to return to. This especially hits home for me, not only because they’re family, but as a Charleston resident and seeing the destruction and impairment flood produces in families firsthand. The difference here is that many in Charleston are prepared for this kind of terrible situation, in rural Coshocton they are not.
One section of collapsed foundation
The Kobel’s have decided to stay in the home and rebuild, as its the home they began their life in. It will take time to heal the emotional and financial wounds. So I’ve created this gofundme campaign to help in their relief after this traumatic event. Any amount of giving is helpful in rebuilding their lives. My company, BoomTown will also be making a corporate donation to the family to further the power of #BTLove. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I believe this is a real opportunity to help affect a family’s life in a profound way. Together, we can help them on their road to recovery.
