Koda Bear's medical fund

Koda Bear is our family dog. Since I was 15 years old, we've had him when we lost our dog to cancer, and he filled the hole that we all felt losing her. He is the sweetest pal to have around; being part Collie, he is intelligent, kind, protective, and gentle all at the same time. Best pals with the cats, they love to sleep next to him on his bed and follow him around the house. Since then we have had poor luck with animals, losing a cat to the neighbour dog, another poisoned 3 months later, you get the picture. After the last two years I can't even begin to emotionally cope with the idea of losing him.
Koda has been sick for the last little while with a tooth infection. Because of Covid the vets have been backlogged, but we were fortunate enough to get him in two weeks ago. He had 2 teeth removed in his initial surgery, but with further testing, including x-ray and bloodwork, he had 4 more taken out and was diagnosed with bronchitis.
He was put on antibiotics to treat residual infection and was sent home. Since then, his depth perception has been virtually nonexistent, leaving my mom to help him eat, walk, poop etc. The vet referred him to ophthalmology which was going to take weeks; during the waiting period, Koda's eyes swelled shut and he developed labored breathing.
Koda is now in emerge undergoing testing for cancer, infection, and so on. The ophthalmologist is certain that if the underlying condition is treated they will be able to fix the issues with his eyesight.
So far my parents have had to pay roughly $6,000 out of pocket in medical bills not including the night in emerge and further testing, the potential for further treatment or surgery. Given that my parents just started a business, money isn't exactly flowing even though they are too proud to admit this I am not. Knowing my mom she would sooner take out a loan than let this little guy slip through her fingers. Anything will help and we are so grateful to anyone who has the means to support us through this. We just want our boy home.
Thank you,
