Kody had a Stroke. Please donate if you are able

Since 2019, our friend Kody Ramsey has been battling kidney disease. It became so aggressive that Kody was placed on the transplant list in the middle of the covid epidemic. The Ramseys have been waiting patiently for their turn on the list. During this time Kody's energy and ability to work and function have been hamstrung heavily. Through this time, Kody has been fighting through it and working as much as possible to help support his family.

Several weeks ago, Kody awoke in the middle of the night without the use of his legs. After several tests done at the hospital, it was discovered that Kody had experienced a stroke, leaving him immobile and needing weeks of inpatient rehabilitation to regain the normal function of his body. Although Kody's condition is getting better and he is expected to make a full recovery, he is wheelchair-bound and can only walk with the assistance of a walker and his nurses.

Needless to say, this is putting an insane amount of stress on Kody, his wife Christy and their family. Insurance is mitigating a small amount of his care and rehabilitation, but it is nowhere close to covering the cost of his medical bills and cost of living.

Kody is an integral part of the arts and service industry and having him out of commission hurts our city and his family every day that passes. We are asking for the community to pull together and help relieve some of the monetary stress in order for Kody to heal and get back to his normal 110% functionality. If you know Kody, he is the last person to ask for help, but insurance will not come within a fraction of what is needed to achieve recovery.
