Kody Nguyen's Family Support Fund

Last Thursday the Nguyen and Tran families received the devastating call that their son, brother, cousin, and nephew was found unresponsive. Over the course of the next few days, the families learned of Kody’s preexisting heart condition, an unforeseen and nearly unpredictable situation for a 22-year-old. Kody held strongly and fought for his life, but on Monday, October 1st, his condition worsened, and he passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family.
Kody brought a joy and lightheartedness to those around him. His goofy, fun-loving, and free nature made him one-of-a-kind. But more than that, Kody was a giving soul, who helped many friends and family through difficult times. Over the last few days, Kody’s families have learned of how truly altruistic he was, often without recognition.
The void left by Kody’s absence in the wake of this tragedy is unfathomable. This account is set up as an effort to relieve stress from the grieving families and assist them as they pay for the unexpected medical bills and funeral arrangements. All donations that help offset the cost of this hardship are greatly appreciated.
Should this fund surpass the necessary amount for Kody’s medical and funeral costs, the Nguyen and Tran families will be donating the remaining funds to a college fund for the light of Kody’s life, his baby sister, Ella.
