Okinawa Derby goes to Germany!!

The Okinawa Roller Derby is the premier women's flat-track roller derby league in Okinawa, Japan!
This June, our All-Star team the Undertow is traveling to Germany to compete in a tournament against other similarly ranked WFTDA teams. We are looking forward to expanding our roller derby experience outside of the island of Okinawa and hope to improve our WFTDA league ranking. The All-Star team consists of skaters and coaches who are teachers, military spouses, and active duty military members serving in Okinawa, Japan. The cost of travel from Okinawa, Japan to Germany will exceed $12,000, with airfare being our greatest challenge. As a league, we try to offset as much of the required travel costs to our league members and their families as possible. Roller derby is an expensive sport with each league managed by the skater for the skater. This is where all of our wonderful fans, our ORD family and friends are able to support our derby dreams and adventures! With your help, the financial burden will be eased for the team and league. We greatly appreciate any and all assistance you are able to provide in helping us achieve our goal of traveling to Germany where we plan to leave everything we have on the tournament track! Every contribution counts and we thank you for your continued support of our league and dreams!!
