Kokoda for Legacy
Donation protected
In September 2019, I will be embarking on the 140km Hike that is the Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea, the renowned location of the World War II battle between Japanese and Australian forces in 1942, where Aussie diggers successfully warded off advances.
Kokoda teaches the true meaning of courage, endurance, mateship and sacrifice. Virtues that are reinforced in serving members of Australian Emergency Services and Armed Forces.
For this reasons, I will be fundraising throughout my preparation and adventure for WA Police Legacy. WA Police Legacy is a charitable organization formed in 1992 to assist with the welfare of Police Officer families to ensure they are not in want of assistance and support when they lose a loved one. This is including but not limited to providing those families with; Financial assistance in times of hardship, educational assistance and many other individual needs.
WA Police legacy currently supports 412 widows, 3 widowers and 52 children under 20 years old.
