Kokua Doreen Kaleiwahea

Donation protected
On September 30, 2016 my mom, Doreen Kaleiwahea was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, basically cancer cells forming in the bone marrow.  Over the course of the past few months, my mother has responded well to the chemotherapy prescribed by the doctors, which have significantly dropped the cancer cells in her bone marrow to 5%.  This an amazing step forward in this journey.

Now the doctors want to do a bone marrow transplant, which means that she will need to go to a cancer center in Seattle, Washinton for at least a month.  This will mean that she will need to have accomodation of lodging and transportation in addition to daily needs, which includes caretaker.

All the while, the medical bills seem to just continue to come in and the pile seems to steadily grow with little reprieve.

Due to this illness, my mom is no longer able to work so she is on a fixed income.  The expenses continue to mount while the income remains fixed.

We humbly ask for any help you can offer.  Every dollar counts and is greatly appreciated.  My mom is the kind of person that is quick to do for others.   She is a fierce woman of God and continues to stare at this "cancerous" mountain while saying "move mountain" in the name of Jesus.  Her spirit if strong and her heart is big.  We appreciate any amount offered and appreciate everyone of you.

Please help and share this campaign with all you know.
