Please Kokua the Dagupion’s

Aloha all,

My name is Chassidy. I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Maui. For generations, we have been lucky to call this beautiful place home.

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, the island was hit w a hurricane that lead the town of Lahaina in utter dismay. With the amount of speed of the wind hitting the islands, the whole town caught on fire damaging EVERYTHING.

A place where we were able to stroll through the historic part of Lahaina, going to our favorite restaurant, our favorite hang out spot, the place we once have called home…. Now unrecognizable. And for some of my family, there is no home to go to. They are fighting for survival at this point, trying to seek shelter, all with nothing but the clothes on their back. Everything came so quick, no one had time to get anything.

Being 2,000+ miles away, it feels absolutely horrendous to watch and hear the struggles of your family. I don’t have much to give to them, but if I can raise just something to help them survive.. this is what I’m going to do. Anything helps for my family and I thank you all so much for all the outpouring love and care that I have received. Your love does not go unnoticed.
