Lahaina ‘Ohana Katie-Ann Saiki & Junior Bumanglag
Donation protected
Aloha, my name is Nia Piimanu (Napua Naumu) and I am starting this fundraising effort to help my dear friend and sister Katie-Ann Saiki and her family. They have been heavily impacted by the Lahaina wildfires that have ravaged their community. Katie-Ann and I have been friends since high school and have shared many beautiful memories together.
Katie-Ann worked as a Preschool teacher in Lahaina, but her school burned down and therefore she lost her job. Her husband, Junior, works at a hotel in Lahaina, but his work situation is unpredictable and could change by the day. Their two young children were attending King Kamehameha III Elementary School, which also got lost in the fire. They are doing their best every day to navigate a very difficult time in their lives.
Katie-Ann and her family are all safe and accounted for, but they are in need of help to be able to take care of their needs at this time.
Your donations will help the Katie-Ann Saiki & Junior Bumanglag 'Ohana with:
- food, water, gas
- figuring out a more permanent living situation
- school supplies for their children - relocating to a different school
These funds will also help them deal with unforeseen costs and living expenses that arise as they try to get back on their feet in the coming months and most likely years.
I humbly ask for your consideration to help this kind and loving family. Any help is greatly appreciated! Mahalo for all of your aloha and support.
