Kōkua the Del Toro Ohana

Our fellow brother in blue and his Ohana are in need of our kōkua. Ben Del Toro has humbly sacrificed umpteen hours away from his wife and 7 children to serve this community for almost 2 decades. A few months ago the Del Toros first received the shocking & devastating news that Mrs. Del Toro had breast cancer. Being that it was very aggressive it was strongly advised that she undergo an emergency surgery to try and rectify the spread. About 2 weeks ago Mrs. Del Toro had undergone a double mastectomy which with better news, went smoothly and she is on the road to recovery.

This is just the tip of the iceberg with a long process ahead. The Cancer Team is at the Queens Medical Center and the majority of the foreseeable medical appointments will be on the Island of Oahu.

The emergency surgery, travel expenses, chemo treatments/therapy, and medications are already pressing and will definitely build over this long road ahead.

With that being said our families, our wives/husbands and children always take a back seat to this very demanding and stressful profession but with your kokua our brother can be there with and to support his wife and Ohana without the added financial stress.
