Kolkata Love for the Life

These eyes are still in my mind!

My name it's Tatjana, I'm 48 years old, and I live to Genoa, Italy. This isn’t my first experience volonteering, but Kolkata is something extraordinary. It isn't easy to find words to describe what I have experienced while volunteering internationally for 42 days in Kolkata.

An experience so moving … that helped me realize that we can be happy with so little.

In my mind, Volunteering is the best way to explore the world and learn about its different cultures. It teaches you to look at the world through different eyes, opening them to new wonders. The love and compassion with which everybody interacted with this special people's how needed to us, is indeed remarkable.

My international volunteering experience has completely changed my life: I am eagerly awaiting to go back to Kolkata as soon as possible to continue to help those in need.

So I ask you to support and I ask you to believe in me.

Your donation will be use for;

- to support flights, and living costs in Kolkata;

- take the supplies to care for these people in great poverty and need. (drugs food, clothes ..);

- open the possibility the people who live in the street to come back in their villages

- for supporting to the volunteers who workks thiere many years;

- to find a house where it can be hosted volunteers, they will self-finance for long periods of their stay there, and often their accommodation are very precarious.

I know that isn’t semple done , but i’m sure that nothng it’s impossible, and when the people give with the love, everything it's possible.

At this point I should therefore like to thank all of those who give time, patience, energy and love and make sacrifices for those who need their help.

I would highly recommend to everybody, only for one time, to spending time in a country of such poverty where the people are happy with nothing. But they can’t live with nothing!

I am indeed fortunate that life gift to me this experience.
