Kona Skatepark Phase One
Donation protected
Kona Skatepark was established in Jacksonville, FL in the summer of 1977 and has endured the test of time. Listed in the 2014 Guinnness World Book of Records as the "Oldest Surviving Skatepark" comes with some big responsibilities. Over the past thirty-eight years Kona has hosted countless events, demonstrations and tours, and created invaluable memories and expereinces for multiple generations of Skateboarders, BMX'ers and Inline Skaters. As we approach our 40th Anniversary we must address the serious needs of the vintage concrete that has defined Kona over the years. Now you have the opportunity to be a part of the process and leave your mark on one of the most iconic places in Action Sports.
