Konnecting Kids - Active Art & Play Fundraiser

The Konnnecting Kids Karaoke were given the opportunity by the GAAC to create a few videos singing Christmas Songs. A group of the kids came together to create four different Christmas videos spreading Christmas cheer. This is their FIRST attempt at creating a video!

The Green Acres Art Centre(GAAC) is a non profit organization who provides art programming opportunities to rural residents of the Interlake. The GAAC currently offers annual dance, theatre. and music (private & band program). The GAAC includes the arts in everything offered or faciliated by our organization - Launching Little Learners preschool age/child & parent, Summer Camps, Variety of Art Workshops, Weekly Activities for All Ages and Annual Community Events.

This fundraiser is specific for our Konnecting Kids - Active Art & Play Program. The original goal was to raise is $5 000.00 to contribute to the cost of supervision, purchasing equipment and supplies for the different activities hosted by our organization. An anymous donation of $1 000.00 was made so now the goal is to raise $4 000.00.

Konnecting Kids is for kids of the Town of Teulon and surrounding areas & communities. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. The plan is to have 24 weekly activities providing opportunities for the different interests and ages. Currently, we charge admission. Our team is fundraising to purchase additional equipment, supplies and to cover the cost of supervision so the admission fee can be FREE.

All donations are appreciated.

Raised funds will be equally allocated among the different activities.

1. Karaoke wish list - Additional Equipment for Creating Videos - lights and an external harddrive to record audio for videos.

2. Fun Gym Nights wish list - Additional Dodgeballs and Nerf War Equipment

3. STEAM. Sewing and other Art & Craft Activities - Equipment - Sewing Machines, Supplies for Creating a Variety of Projects and Art Genres.

4. Portion of the funds raised will contribute to supervision wage costs.
