Krush it for Kooper!!

Donation protected
Hello! I am raising funds for my 13 year old nephew, Kooper and his family. Kooper is fighting for the ability to walk again after a mass on his spinal cord caused significant nerve damage.

There are a lot of unknowns that Koop is facing right now and hurdles to overcome as he currently does not have any feeling in his legs. This is devastating for a 13 year old boy who is super active, loves to play sports, hang outside with his brothers, etc.

Please see my sister in law’s note below to learn more about Kooper’s story - Any money raised will go to medical costs, travel expenses for the family, room and board, long term care for Koop, meals, etc. Thank you for all prayers, support and good vibes!

We are so incredibly grateful!

From Brandy, Kooper’s step mother - “Hello family and friends. A lot of you know by now, but for those that don’t I want to take a moment to talk about my son, Kooper. On Monday May 22nd, he was flown to Boston Childrens Hospital because he had leg pain and lost feeling in his legs. An MRI showed a spinal mass. He had emergency surgery to remove it. Surgery went well and post-op MRI was clean. Biopsy results were negative for cancerous cells. However, he has not yet regained any feelings in his legs. He has a long road ahead of him. Doctors aren’t certain of a lot of things right now. He will spend many weeks to months in rehab in Boston.

If you’ve ever met Kooper, you’ve made a friend for life. He has always been a social butterfly, I remember him rolling down his windows and saying hi to other drivers at red lights or striking up conversations with random people in check out lines. I’m pretty sure he could have a conversation with a brick wall.

Kooper is smart and funny and becoming such a humble young man. He recently taught our youngest son, Grayson how to ride a bike without training wheels, even took them off himself. It was a proud mother moment, to not only see your last baby doing a big kid thing but watching big brother teach him patiently and encourage him. Kooper and his younger brother Logan have become pretty inseparable. At 3 years apart, there were many years of bickering but they have become best buds. The boys and I miss having Kooper and Dad (Justin) at home with us but we will visit as often as we can while I hold the fort down at home.

Let’s “krush” this goal for Kooper and support him in walking again!!! Thank you so much.
