Koren Troy Brooks the HERO!

My name is Brandy Wells, the sister to Paris & the Aunt to Koren Troy Brooks, who was and  is A true wonder, a quiet and brilliant kid. Someone whose bright, beautiful eyes and charming smile would light up a room, not to mention his ability to beat anyone's butt in any game you put in front of him.

He was a gamer, creative artist, and a lover of music, in fact he would teach himself on his acoustic guitar. He once mentioned to me he planned on being a musician for the opening of music to games. Koren was one of a kind kid and a loving son. An actual kid, he looked forward to hanging out with his friends and creating memories while enjoying playing and spending time outdoors.

Which

leads me to this unfathomable moment. Yesterday at about 5 pm, Koren was playing with friends near Lakeside Vista Apartment Homes helping a friend who was drowning in the lake right behind his home. Koren saved one of his friend's life, but the cold slushy iced water was to much, Koren got caught in debris under the cold water and didn't come up.

About an hour later, my sweet brave nephew was found unresponsive and pronounced deceased at the Kennestone WellStar Hospital.

Koren Troy Brooks will be remembered for his love for all, family, and friends, for his creativity, and his ability to make any situation funny; he was only 16 with a bright future a head of him, a junior attending Kennesaw Mountain High School in Kennesaw GA,
