Kori Kimbrough, 15 years of age was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in 2019. Kori went through several rounds of chemo with the last round being the most evasive. Her cancer returned every time in the form of a tumor on her face. After the last treatment the tumor grew to consume one side of her face.
Kori (pictured to the right) was a beautiful kind soul. She represented love. Her bright spirit lit up a room. She was an honor rollstudent. She loved reading and enjoyed helping others. She never complained about her situation. She stayed positive and encouraged her family to do the same. She was satisfied with a bag of popcorn and a movie with her family. When she was able to she always helped her family around the house.
Kori always made others laugh with her sparkling smile. She made cancer look easy. She did not want her family to worry. She was a good soul. She loved her family and requested that they operate in love as her final words to the family. Still showing love until the end. She left this world due to complications of cancer. According to family Kori stayed positive and fought cancer with everthing she had until the end.
