Kow Korner. Bring it back!

Donation protected
As a lifelong Oak Harbor resident, the loss of KOW KORNER has bothered me since its closure in the early 2000's. I worked there for 3 years with the original owner and his son, Will (Herb) and Ken Williams. It has always felt like my duty to bring it back. Everyone I've ever talked to has heard of my Kow Korner dreams and I'm tired of talking. Time for action whether I personally have the funding or not. Although Will has sadly passed away, his son Ken has given me his blessing to re-create Kow Korner. I won't lie and claim any creative credit. With Ken's valuable input, the EXACT same menu and building floor plan are my goal. Same registers, cowboy hats, menu board, and if I can find a clock like the one they had displayed, I'll do that too.
This is bigger than just another fast food restaurant. I'm sure most locals have fond memories of their Oak Harbor upbringing that took place at good ol KowKow on Midway Blvd. From carwashes to class reunions, this place brought the community together and has left a void ever since.
Please donate and take pride that you helped Kow Korner come back to life. Your financial assistance will go solely to this cause and will help pay for location, construction, kitchen equipment, start-up costs, etc.
I have experience with business management and have been silently planning this for over a decade. All I need is the capital to make it truly happen.
