I am starting this campaign in support of my neighbors and friends, the Kozak family, from Marwayne.
Laura Kozak is a wife, mother and cancer warrior. She has been fighting an immense battle with a series of aggressive cancers and equally aggressive treatments for far too long. Her strength continues to amaze me as she always manages to always put her daughter first – as a dance mom, personal taxi, sleep over host, etc, in between many appointments and treatments in Lloydminster and Edmonton. This family has endured so much, always with intense courage and grace, never asking for help.
Laura’s most recent treatment in Edmonton was a particularly tough one and has required her husband, Kirk, to take time off work to assist her care at home.
Please join me in rallying around Laura, Kirk and 9 year old Akaisha. This campaign will help to ease any financial burdens, allowing them to focus on Laura’s health and making family memories.
