Help KP kick cancer’s butt and kick Butt Cancer

Asking for help isn’t my happy place but I need some cash ($3000) to tide me over until chemo ends and my scholarship begins on 25 March 2024.

I’ve been too unwell to work (except for an hour or two here or there) due to unexpectedly brutal side effects; as a casual I have no sick leave, I’m almost through the funds I pulled from super/savings and collapsing airways used the entire insured period for income protection (June 2023). I’ve switched my mortgage to redraw to conserve funds and I’ll cop some interest charges in the interim. I’ve run out of AirBnB bookings.

Cancer treatment is expensive; I had to go through the private system for surgery because of public waitlists, I still have to pay for all my pills and many of my tests plus managing all my other medical expenses.

It’s uncomfortable to ask but it would be more uncomfortable to literally run out of funds. Especially so close to the chemo finish line.
