Please help our neighborhood friend Dan and his team rebuild his dream.
The Grateful Gnome Sandwhich Shoppe and Brewery was just about to finally open their doors in the highlands neighborhood off of Tennyson street. The owner Dan is recreating his family's New Jersey Deli receipes mixed in with great beer and Sweet Cow ice cream into the neighborhood. This has been his life long dream and lifetime of savings to create this wonderful concept.
After a hard year and a half of dealing with permits, construction disasters and everything else that comes along with stress of opening a new business. Unfortunately on June 12th construction scaffolding from the condos next door fell over on top of the nearly finished building that Dan has put his blood, sweat and tears into. He and a few of his employees were inches away from being hit by the planks falling from the destroyed roof. They are all thankful that nobody was hurt, but now the pain of knowing the opening will be pushed back another few months is unbearable. Not to mention the costs that Dan will now have to swallow after more months of not being open.
If we can help donate any amount to Dan and his Grateful Gnome family to get through this hard time, it would be more than appreciated.
Thank you everyone for helping and spreading the love to this small business!
We can't wait to eat and drink at The Grateful Gnome!
