Jennifer Evans Funeral Expenses

Jennifer Evans was a daughter to Wanda and a big sister to brother Michael. I’ve known this family for about seven years.

Jennifer had a heart of gold. Her special needs brother is known in their community as “Batman of New Egypt” and Jennifer adored him and was his biggest champion.

On October 21, 2023 Jennifer was struggling medically. Her family called the squad and she was taken to Deborah Hospital, where sadly she passed away from heart failure - most likely contributed to severe liver complications. Jennifer was on the list for a liver transplant.

Born in 1986 and a 2005 graduate of New Egypt High School, Jennifer was just 36 years old.

Her mother and brother are shattered. And now her mom is faced with a task that no parent should have to face - burying their child.

This is not only emotionally devastating, but also financially crippling to this small family.

I am creating this GoFundMe account to not only try to help offset some of the stress on this family - but also to honor the loving and giving nature that Jennifer exhibited every single day. She took care of her mom and her brother. She had recently created a GoFundMe account for one of her friends struggling with stage four cancer. She always reached out to me to offer assistance with the various charitable events I was organizing. She has given to individuals with handicaps, has donated new unwrapped toys to Toys for Tots and has gone without so that others wouldn’t have to.

Jennifer had an amazing heart - which is why knowing that her heart gave out is just so difficult at times to comprehend.

Now it’s our turn to show what we learned through her example - and help let this family know just how special her daughter was.

Please help me reach this goal quickly, as her mom is trying to make Jennifer’s final arrangements - and really could use being lifted up financially and through prayer.

Rest easy my friend, you did well by your family and now we honor your memory. Jennifer Evans, you are already so sorely missed.
