A new home

Hi my name is Mya Lee and due to no fault of our own we are being asked to leave our current home. We(the entire complex you can also google search “Tampa Tenet Mass Eviction “ ) were given a “30 day” notice on December 31st 2021 because our “water is bad” and we were told not to pay January rent because with that “extra money” we would be able to fine a new home. We (my household) had a place but unfortunately it turned out to be a scam so now we’re back to square one. My daughters have eczema so with the water being as nasty and dirt filled it’s making their skin break out in horrible rashes! I am a SAHM so I do not work nor do I have a car so It’s very hard to find a place that will work with us (my mom and cousin currently work) when it comes to putting down deposits and application fees ect and it’s very hard because since I don’t have a car we have to be close to the HART Bus Line so my mom and cousin can get to work and the busses aren’t free or quick and sometimes they have to miss work because they can’t get off early enough to catch the last bus. And I’m a substitute teacher but I can’t work how I would like because I can only walk so far due to previous medical issues and surgeries and there are only so many schools in my area I can walk to. So right now my focus is trying to find a home and a nice car for me and my family especially my mom and my two little girls who are 2 and 2 months! Any and all donations are very helpful and very appreciated! Any and all help with housing (even if we can be in a hotel until we can find somewhere permanent) is very helpful and appreciated! We have been through more than you could think of in the past few years (homelessness…job loss…not having enough money for certain things…more homelessness…no transportation ect.) so we are just looking for our Hail Mary our safe haven our new life!
