Francisco Camin Guerrero past away last Friday on July 7th, just 20 days before his 62nd birthday. Frank was a beautiful souls who would go out of his way to help anyone who needed it. He left a positive and lasting impact to those closest to him.
He leaves behind his two Daughters and a Grandson who want nothing more than to give their Father/Grandpa a proper send off so that he may finally rest.
Frank was born on July 27, 1961 in El Paso, Texas, where he grew up. He was an El Paso HighSchool All Star Football Player and Graduate from 1979. He Served our Country as an U.S. Veteran in the Navy and Marines, working in their Medical Fields shortly after graduating school. He had a strong passion for helping and healing others and he gave back to his community by spending his years after the service, working at Thomason General Hospital and 30 years at The Hospital of Providence in El Paso, Texas.
He was an amazing Father who would always remind his two daughters and grandson of the endless love he held in his heart for them.
Frank was diagnosed with Reno-Vascular Disease that he had gotten from drinking contaminated water during his 6-month long service at Camp Lejeune in the 80’s. He was one of one million people affected by the water contamination.
We are extremely heart broken by the loss of our Father, Frank, and were not prepared for this tragedy, let alone the cost of funeral services. In attempt to raise funds, we have tried reaching out to the VA in hopes that they would help up us, seeing that one of our countries hero’s has passed on. We had high hopes that my sister and I wouldn’t have to be alone during this extremely difficult time and process, only to be met with utter disappointment.
Every Funeral Home we have spoken to has informed us that it’s fairly common for Veterans and their Families to be left struggling during times like these, All because of The VA’s lack of care for our Hero’s. We desperately want to give our Father the memorial he rightfully deserves, to honor his time here on this earth, and say our final goodbyes.
We are now turning to our community and asking for Donations to help cover the cost of Francisco Camin Guerrero’s funeral. We need to raise $4000 in order to be able to afford the funeral service.
The Service will include things like: The Cremation (as per his wishes), Mass, Rosarie, Escorts, a Veterans Burial, etc.
Here is a Link to the Fundraiser of Francisco. Please, consider donating or sharing the link if you are unable to donate at this time. Any amount will be appreciated dearly as we are truly struggling to put this together during this challenging time. Thank you so much for taking the time, Have a Blessed Day.
