Support Melissa's Family in Their Time of Loss

In early 2023, Melissa Tedder was diagnosed with stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer. She completed her chemo, radiation & had a double mesectamy. About 3 months ago, she was told she was cancer free. Fast forward to the last few weeks she was experiencing some symptoms of discomfort. Thinking it could be pancreatitus, she made an appointment to get checked out. After a few days & different tests/scans, we found out that it was actually her liver. The same day as her biopsy, we met with her Oncologist, where we received the devastating news that her TNBC has metastasized to her liver, and she was in stage 4 & struggling with the pain/symptoms.

As of Monday 8/6/24, she was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia & sepsis. As she was being treated she declined very quickly and had to be placed on a ventilator and then dialysis. The family was called in early Monday morning due to her going into congestive heart failure. Melissa lost her battle and gained her wings.

Melissa was unable to work during this time. Everything has happened so quickly and unexpectedly. She did not have an insurance policy to help with the expense her burial. If anyone would be willing to donate to help her girls with these expenses or share even say a prayer for her family during this time, they would be forever grateful. A financial burden is the last thing this family needs to worry about.
