Kreed Zahir’s Memories: Loss of a child

Never once wanted to even imagine having to bury a child of my own! I gave birth to Kreed Zahir Sanders at 25 weeks gestational on March 18th 2025, and just as he was progressing in the NICU, gaining weight from 1 lb 6 oz to 1 lb 11 oz, opening his eyes at the sound of my voice, moving, attempting to escape at times (lol), and just doing great with his growth. Right before his two-week mark, a change occurred in my baby, causing his passing within hours. I saw my little baby fighting with so many IVs and tubes being added; however, Kreed Zahir didn't make it... his soul returned to rest right at two weeks of living.

I'm asking for a little help from my village in putting my baby's body to rest so that my son, husband, and I can begin to heal the best way we can. Anything would be generous, and as one knows, no one really likes asking for help, so understand this is already extremely hard. God bless you to all that have the desire to give!
