Kris' First Annual Medical Fundraiser!

Hi, I'm Heather, a friend and co-worker of Kris Kern. A paramedic and educator of over 30 years, she's recently been diagnosed with Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (Wegener's), also known as GPA, a rare blood vessel disease. The treatment for this disease costs $14,980 A MONTH! FOR LIFE! Insurance refuses to cover any of the life-saving medication. Until there are alternative solutions, we don't want Kris to resort to Only Fans to support herself. She's an incredible person who never turns anyone away, keeps her community, believes in volunteerism and is positive in the face of adversity.

I plan to run an annual Go Fund Me and obtain as many donations as possible from family, friends, co-workers, friends of friends, former students, and anyone willing to help. If 1000 people gave $180 each year, Kris' medicine would be covered, her life would be saved, and she wouldn't have to go into debt. She would be able to continue teaching new generations of paramedics, volunteer in her community and be a joy to the world.
