Kris Rocha Medical Cost

Donation protected
Kris began feeling ill last week and after a trip to a local urgent care,
was diagnosed with the flu. He began treatment for the sickness at home, but his condition worsened. By Tuesday, he was unable to move or walk
and breathing was extremely difficult for him. He was transported by EMS to the hospital that morning. Upon arrival, they diagnosed him with pneumonia – he was only breathing out of one chamber of one of his lungs. One of his lungs was
completely full of fluid, and the swelling in his arms and legs was severe.
They moved him to ICU and began heavy dose of several antibiotics for both
pneumonia and to treat his arms and legs for sepsis.
Kris’s lungs have started to clear, thank God, but he has a serious staph infection
in his bloodstream, which has had a major impact on his left arm and both of his
legs.
The Doctor is hopeful that the infection has not gone into the bone, so surgery
has been put on hold for the time being.
We are holding on to every positive improvement he makes, whether it be big or small, and we are praying that the antibiotics start to treat the staph infection.
We are thankful for the outpouring of love and support we have felt over the last
few days. We ask for continued prayers as he continues on the road to full healing and recovery.

Kris is self-employed and his ability to earn income has come to a complete stop. The cost for his medical care is a burden we are hoping that he will not have to
fully endure, so that his focus can be solely on healing and recovery.
The many doctors have said that he has a long road ahead of him, but he is a
fighter and we know he will make it through this.

If you are able to support in any form, it is greatly appreciated.
We know that times are hard with everything currently going on in the world, so if you are unable to give support financially, we would appreciate any additional
prayers.
