Krishnan Subramanian's Last rites

​It's with profound grief & shock, we announce the untimely demise of Mr. Krishnan Subramanian(54) who suddenly passed away on

Friday 10th June around 12 noon due to Cardiac arrest at Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.

A True gentleman in all sense, an active reader, scientist, keen runner and traveller, he is very close to many of us here in Belfast especially within the Running community in Belfast.

Krishnan Subramanian (Known as Ravi to his close friends) originally from Coimbatore, India was an Agriculture Economist by profession moved to Nairobi with family for work .

Ravi moved to Belfast in October 2020 to do his PHD in Agriculture Economics at Queens University and was staying alone here.

He is survived by his wife who is in Nairobi, Kenya and daughter who is doing Masters in London..

As somebody who doesn't have any relatives in Belfast, we feel it's our moral responsibility to support his family and give him a befitting farewell. Hence we kindly request all his loving friends and well wishers to donate generously to support his funeral cost
