Krissy Snell and Family
Donation protected
With very heavy hearts, we are sharing the devastating news that Krissy Snell has been placed on hospice, after a brave fight against Brain Cancer. We're asking you to help support the family during this difficult time as they face not only an enormous loss of an incredible mother, sister, aunt, partner and friend, but a financial burden that could be overwhelming.
In April of 2020, Krissy was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme. It was a terrifying diagnosis for a young mother of two young children, and Krissy has been bravely battling the aggressive disease. For the past 18 months, she's endured several surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, and most recently, every clinical trial that was available to her. Krissy has been and continues to be so brave, fighting with an inspiring spirit and selfless attitude, frequently making sure everyone around her is ok.
Her team of doctors have exhausted all options and determined that it's best for Krissy to be home, surrounded by friends and family. She's being cared for by hospice at her sister Lisa's home, where her family are giving her all the care she needs around the clock. It's a deeply painful time for everyone, but Krissy continues to be a fighter and bright light, making people laugh, being attentive to everyone around her, and, of course, ensuring some amazing music is playing at all times. It is not out of the ordinary if you are around Krissy these days to hear her randomly blurting out song lyrics and singing loudly at any given moment.
Krissy has privately battled her disease until now and has not asked for help outside of her small and dedicated circle of family. Lisa, Chris, Nicole, Randie Mae, and other dear friends have dedicated every minute of these past 18 months to supporting Krissy every step of the way. The family would use your contributions for medical bills and to help Lisa and Nicole, who have both chosen to take family leave from work. Lisa and Nicole are sacrificing in order to ensure Krissy has the optimal environment and is surrounded by those she loves most.
We're all so grateful for any contribution you can make to help ease the financial burden and allow them to focus all of their time, attention, and care towards Krissy in these difficult and painful final days.
