Krissy's Red Devil Encounter

Our dear friend Krissy was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer that has spread to her lymph nodes.  Her treatment will include 4 rounds of “Red Devil” chemo, followed by 12 rounds of Paclitaxol, surgery to remove the very large mass, then 6 weeks of radiation.   

Krissy lives in Vancouver, Washington.  She is sweet, kind, creative and extremely optimistic!  She adores animals and lives alone with her retired racing greyhound, Blaze.  Krissy has been a portrait and wedding photographer since 1986 but has been unable to work the past year through the Covid pandemic.   She has been supporting herself by pet sitting dogs and cats when their humans go on vacation. She adores this job because "it makes her happy and the pets give her so much love”.  

The chemo is starting to take its toll on her!  She does more for the animals than she does for herself and puts herself in harms way by walking dogs in the snow in a weakened condition.  She fears that she will be unable to pay her rent and basic living expenses and may not be able to continue her treatment.  No one should have to make a decision between receiving cancer treatment or paying bills, so we have set up this GoFundMe Page to help Krissy get thru the next 6 months without worry.
