Krista Harney's Leukemia Treatment & Recovery

Hello Friends!

My name is Candice DeRoo and I am fundraising to help my cousin-in-law, Krista Harney and her family.

Krista was diagnosed with Leukemia in September 2023. She is currently receiving treatment at Iowa City Hospital. She will remain in the hospital for the course of her treatment which will last over a month. Krista is married with three kids at home. Her wonderful, supportive husband, Travis has been working hard to take care of their children and home while Krista is in the hospital. Krista is self employed as a daycare provider which means she will be out of work with no pay until her treatment is complete and she is medically cleared to start working again.

Due to the loss of her income, they are in need of some help to cover the out of pocket costs for her treatment and to supplement her loss of wages. Every little bit helps!
