Krista's Home & Glass Studio Lahaina Fire Fund

Krista is an extraordinary Maui-based glass artist (flame work) and cherished community member of historic Lahaina, HI. She has lived on her beloved Maui for over 30 years.

On August 8th, 2023 her entire home and all of her belongings were burnt to ash in the fires that ravaged the island! This wasn’t only where she had lived for nearly three decades, but also the location of her glass studio, where she has created her uniquely beautiful sea animals. (Whales, Turtles, Angel Fish, Geckos, Seahorses, Octopi, etc.) Which have all also been destroyed by the horrible fire. Anything, including sharing this link, helps her recover a small fraction of her enormous loss. Krista’s kindness & generosity is well-known by many. She has hosted family & friends & friends of friends and acted as a charming tour guide for those visiting Maui. Thank you everyone in advance for your support.

I have known Krista since we attended "Free School" together at age four. She has been a lifelong friend and classmate and has always been the most talented artist I have known. This fire is devastating to many, but losing your home and your source of income as well as all of your belongings and a lifetime of treasured possessions is a tragedy. Please help in any way possible.
