On January 2, 2021, the world lost a beautiful life. Kristen was bright, funny, happy, and a dedicated mother. Her children, Nick and Natalie were her whole heart.
On January 2, 2021, Kristen was shot and killed in a murder-suicide by her boyfriend.
On January 2, 2021, we had to tell her kids that their mother had been taken from them.
On January 2, 2021, her life ended, and the trauma of her loss began for her family and friends.
We are all in shock at the senseless, needless violence that took such a wonderful, loving person from our lives. We cannot find words that make it feel better, or that make it make sense. They just don't exist.
We are raising funds to help cover her funeral costs, and for the future care of her surviving children. We want to ensure they have the resources to process this trauma, and hopefully heal. Someday.
