Kristen Bennett’s Medical Expenses

Hi, my name is Katie and I am looking for help to assist my sister. My sister, Kristen, has had a very unfortunate string of medical events. In May she had her first surgery for to have her colon removed. Since March 2023 she has had 10 hospital admissions. For at least 3 days a piece. Some much longer. As of yesterday she has had 18 CT scans and she has had 3 scopes done. In November the day before thanksgiving she had an exploratory surgery where they found and removed an adhesion band that was causing partial obstructions on her intestines. Last night her symptoms came back for vengeance and my dad took her to Cleveland where they admitted her back in to the hospital with two more obstructions on her bowel.

Now she is at the Cleveland Clinic looking at her third surgery in less than a year, assuming insurance and all the things fall into place. Kristen just celebrated her 27th birthday. She is way too young to be dealing with all of this pain and financial stress and having to miss so much work is making it impossible to get out from underneath the bill collection pile. My parents have helped and supported her (and all of us kids) as much as they possibly can. However I know they are feeling the strain just as much since my dad has also been dealing with tons of medical procedures himself. Anything you could donate would bless my entire family. All proceeds would go directly to her medical bills. Anything extra would go towards medical bills for my dad as he had his own stock pile.
